<p>I think you’ve got a really good shot, as long as your main essay is strong, and your “why GW” essay shows that you’ve got a lot of interest in the school.</p>
<p>I had the same GPA, a SAT of 2130 (which is pretty much equal to an ACT of 30), and the disadvantage of having a GED (which I can’t think helped me), and I got in and was awarded with a few academic scholarships. (I was also coming from a community college.)</p>
<p>You might want to expand on your extracurriculars a little…I don’t know how heavily GW weighs them in the application process, but doing some volunteer work (or mentioning in your application that you have a true job if you have one – that counts as an extracurricular) could help a bit.</p>
