Transfer Chances

Hey guys I'm currently a community college student from New Jersey and Have just sent in my application to UGA and was wondering what my chances are, The transcript I just sent in has 44 credits with a 3.49 GPA, I will also have completed 17 more credits by December with an additional 12 in the spring, and taking that into consideration worse case scenario is my GPA will drop to a 3.4. Also will the school be able to make the decision on just the transcript I sent in with the 44 credits or will I need to send follow up ones as well? Thanks in advance and GO DAWGS!

Alright, so it looks like no one could really chance me which makes sense, but has anyone transferred into UGA or know of someone who has? Please share some stories, I’m stressing out a little lol.

I was accepted as a UGA transfer student for Spring 2013. It looks like you have a good GPA and have over 30 credits which means you are a sophmore. If you are applying as a junior you need a 2.8 GPA. It really depends on the classes you take and what transfers in. You do go out of state so it will probably take UGA longer to calculate which/how the classes transfer in. You also do need to send follow up transcripts since UGA needs all of the transcripts in order to get credit once you graduate from there. Let me know if you have any additional questions! Happy to help!
