<p>I applied as a transfer student for Fall 2009. I'm in my fourth semester at my current university, my course load thus far has been pretty heavy, and I'm in the honor's program. My cumulative GPA is 3.446. My intended major at UGA is pre-Journalism/Telecommunication Arts in the Grady college. I think that for transfer students, the main thing they look for is GPA....do I have a good chance? I have to move to Athens because my husband's job is there so I'm really banking on getting in.</p>
<p>Looks pretty good to me. I applied also for fall 09. I have a 3.8 but I'm only a freshman so I haven't taken as many credits. Do you know when a decision will be made?</p>
<p>I think they will let us know by May or June....they look at applications in the order they receive them, too. Good luck getting in!! I really hope I do....</p>
