Hello, I am currently a freshman attending Kent State with intentions of transferring to Ohio State for fall of 2016 and I am applying next week once final grades are posted. So I got a 3.3 GPA for my first semester of college and I took 19 credit hours this semester. I understand if you have 30 hours or more and have at least a 2.5 GPA or higher, OSU is fairly easy to transfer into. But if you have less than 30 hours, you have to send in your high school statistics also. I was wondering if I would have a chance since I have 19 hours and a 3.3 this semester if I would get accepted as a transfer for next fall? It’s the only school I want to go to. Also more about me, I graduated in 2014, so I took a gap year in between to work to save up money. In HS, I received a 3.0 GPA and my ACT was a 21. I took dual credit courses at a regional campus of Kent State while in High School too but those credit hours at kent won’t add into the total to surpass the 30 hours. So only the 19 this semester after graduation is considered. Im very nervous and will be devastated if I don’t get in next fall. I don’t want to wait another semester. Any info/advice is very much appreciated!
Thank you
