<p>I'm applying as a freshman transfer from Boston University. I have a measley 2.65 gpa, but it's because I've been having a tough time adjusting. How competative is transfer admission to USC? Feel free to be brutal and honest, I don't want to waste time writing essays if I don't have a shot.</p>

<p>Competitiveness is different based on which major you want to apply to. Transfers from community college typically have a 3.5+ GPA. The standards would be relaxed for a place like B.U, but not to your extent.</p>
<p>Is there a particular reason you want to transfer? You probably won't be able to get into any schools ranked higher than B.U with that GPA...</p>
