At the beginning of the semester, I posted here asking if I had a shot at transferring to Columbia. My background was basically "I didn't do well in high school, but I plan to have a 3.8+ GPA at the end of my first semester in college", which was greeted by many doubtful responses.

Anyway, I was determined, and I got a 4.0. Will Columbia see this marked improvement with skepticism because it's only one semester of grades? I'm hoping that I won't be out of contention because of my HS performance.

Thoughts?
