Hey CC'ers. Anyone have any advice about transfer consulting services? Worth a shot or waste of money? There aren't that many out there that specifically deal with transfers. I've heard of Transferadmit and Bolger Strategic. Neither have been publicized much so I'm verry curious if they perform as well as they say they do.

....if you have the $$$$$$$ that is......

personally i dont need any consulting service(s). they help you mostly w/ your paper & interviews, but you can find a wealth of information on this site, and other forums on the transfer admission process.

Well Transferadmit is total crap. Its run by a couple of undergrads who happened to transfer. I doubt they have enough experience to actually make a difference in anyone's app.

Honestly, I think you can do just as well by being organized an recruiting your friends/parents to critically read/proof your essays.

Even if you have the $$$$$, don't waste it on one of those services.

Thanks for the insights guys.

Yeah, I don't really have the extra money to blow. I may need a pro reader though. I guess we'll see. Thanks again!

CC is an excellent FREE transfer consulting service :D
