Before I transferred to my four-year university, I played baseball at a junior college. Do all of the A's that transferred to my 4 year university count in my cumulative and science GPA's ?

Yes .

Thanks alot! Do you happen to know what courses are included for the sciences GPA?

Anything which is in the Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Math departments, along with a few ancillary departments like Biochemistry (Chemistry) or Statistics (Math).

Okay, but no social science or foreign language classes? Going to Medical School hadn't really crossed my mind until this year... I was majoring in chemistry to perhaps work in a lab somewhere, but I have recently become very interested in medicine, and I am shadowing a physician this summer. My grades are good, so I asked myself why not go for it, and I couldn't find an answer.

Why would foreign languages be included in the science GPA? And social sciences are also excluded. It's referred to as the BCPM GPA to emphasize the departments and subjects it includes.

I guess you are right, that doesn't make much sense... sorry. My school groups it in with social sciences, so I didn't know if they were included in the sciences GPA. Is a 3.73 Cum and 3.5 science, good enough to compete for a seat somewhere, if my MCAT score ends up being pretty decent?

Yup .

Okay! Thanks alot! Im a newbie at the whole pre-med thing, and its pretty overwhelming, so I really do appriciate your help!
