I applied to the UBC as a transfer student into third year faculty of science back in early December

As of January 26 my status on the SSC was finally updated to:

"Your application is ready for evaluation. You will be notified in writing as soon as a decision has been made."

So for three weeks, everything has been ready to go...

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for a decision after this message has been posted on SSC?

Oh, btw, I called them a week ago and they said that someone "had my application" and that "they needed more information from the faculty"

could I assume that this means that I was accepted and they are merely taking time to figure out transfer credit?

Whoa...calm down buddy

If you don't have an answer...perhaps just stay silent?

And the multiple bumps are just a reference to Halo...

Double Kill
Triple Kill
Killtacular

There was no other reason...

i think most people missed the halo reference (me included) and found the bumping annoying and didn't respond.

but anyway, best to call them.

this is a college discussion forum, this is not xbox live, buddy

i gave you the best answer you are going to get on here, call them up. if anybody on here gives you an answer for how long it takes for a decision to come about after some message on the scc for ubc has been posted, unless they are admission reps. from ubc lurking these boards, is probably not worth listening to.

The OP has been advised about excessive bumping, let's let it go.
