<p>all i'm saying is that they shouldn't make that page accessible to people who aren't students at the school... especially letting them apply for housing and junk.</p>
<p>if i was working in the addmissions office, i would tell people vauge information too or else that kid is going to tell everyone and then everyone is going to freak out and say stuff like "how come i could do this? you said..."

<p>ugh there are so many conflicting reports on the date! I don't know what to believe anymore. I really don't understand why they can't do a rolling admissions as they make their decisions. I'm just going to try to stop worrying about it and when I find out I find out, but I will drive myself crazy if continue to look at the speculation on this board. <p>I have to agree with Hopeful Aunt. The whole "week or two" thing sounds like standard fare admissions-speak. Maybe I'm just being optimistic, but I'm pretty sure that at this point in the process they'd have a fairly well pin-pointed date in mind. I'll still be checking my computer a 4:00 PM Eastern Time tommorrow.</p>
<p>uncfuerst when you got rejected as a sophomore what was your first sem GPA? what was course load like in high school (how many APs? did you take a lot of foreign language courses?) and what were your EC's like in both high school and college.</p>

<p>3.85 college gpa, up to spanish 4, and 5 aps...i did really bad in one course which made my chances worse...but my high school gpa was 3.673 to be exact</p>

here is my analysis, take it or leave it.</p>
<p>I wouldnt bank on anything with directories, icons, onyens, or any other fruits, veggies, and websites. Its possible this means something, but its also possible that it doesnt, either way, we will find out no later than the 25th. That means it could be tomorrow, could be at midnight on the 24th...either way, thats as long as we have to wait it out. We've been waiting for the past month and a half (for some even longer). In the mean time, lets just enjoy these next few weeks as much as we can, acing exams, and raising money for good causes (cuz of course thats what Carolina hopefuls do), and when we get the decisions we can come back and compare notes on who had what icons, and update statuses. Then for next year, no one has to go through all of this crazyness....</p>
