Transfer Deferred? ...Help

I'm planning on transferring for the SFS and eventually doing a dual degree in International Business/International Affairs; currently I'm an International Business major at Gannon University (small private catholic school in Erie, PA). My standardized test scores are pretty low for Georgetown but I am retaking SATs & ACTs this month then 2SAT 2 tests next month. I was reading that some transfers are deferred and reevaluated when 2nd semester grades are in? Is this true and how much would it matter for me? (I'm a freshman btw)

any thoughts?

bump^^^^^^

I can’t be much help with the transfer info, but just so you know, international business is in the business school at Georgetown, and all of the international affairs-type majors are SFS. You also can’t double major in SFS or across schools

Really? I visited and they said it would definitely be possible? Actually, my tour guide for the presentation was doing the same thing I was planning… What are your sources?
