Transfer Essay: If I got in with it once, should I use it again?

I am looking a number of top LACs to transfer to. My #1 school that I am considering, I got in as a freshman and I ultimately feel I made the wrong decision with the school I am going to now. Do you think they will notice if I have used the same essay?

For reference, the essay I used was an essay about my life, basically all the hardships I have faced in life. It was not so much about perspective as it was about my upbringings.

Do you think it would be acceptable for me to use it again?
Has anyone done this before?

Strictly speaking, I think you CAN. But I would personally at least make tweaks to it. You don’t want the adcom to think that you are the exact same person you were years ago. Update it so that it reflects the person you are NOW rather than the person you were the first time you applied.
