Transfer from California Community College to CSU GPA reset?

This topic has probably been discussed to death. /sorry
I know that when you transfer from a CCC to a UC your GPA resets to 0. Does the same apply to CSU's?

Only reason I'm asking is because I have a relatively low cumulative GPA, 3.01. During my first year at CC I had no idea what I wanted to do and basically screwed around and ended up with terrible grades, 32 credit hours equaling a GPA of 2.1. Since then for the past two years I have worked hard and brought my grades up, last semester, 3.4 GPA and am on course for a 3.6 GPA at the end of this semester.

I know that when applying for grad school my CC gpa gets looked at. However, upon graduation which GPA gets looked at? The GPA that I received at the 4-year institution or will my CC grades come back and screw me over? Same thing for graduating with honors.

-Thanks

CSU Fullerton calculates (a) CSU Fullerton GPA, (b) transfer credit GPA, and (c) overall GPA. Whether other CSUs do the same, and how they use the GPAs, is something you need to dig around some more to find.

For the purpose of writing a resume for employment, if you include GPA, it is best to include a GPA from each school separately, exactly as listed on the transcripts, and an overall GPA. For the school you are currently attending, indicate “as of [date]” so that differences due to subsequent grades being posted do not cause the reader to assume you are lying if they see a different number on a later transcript.
