Transfer from Community College to Ivy?!

Hey,

my name is Franz and I am going to study Business Administration at Santa Monica College, which is one of the best CC's in California.
I have already taken my SAT I and SAT IIs, i guess my scores are quite good:

SAT I: Mathematics: 800
Critical Writing: 720
Writing: 760

SAT II: French 800
World History 760

TOEFL: 113

My question is: Do you think i do even have the slightest chance of getting into yale if i have a gpa 3.9-4.0?
I would also apply as a junior transfer to Berkeley or NYU. is it easier to get into those than into yale?

i do not have an answer for you, but i am wondering the same thing.

Since you have given your TOEFL, I presume you are an International Student, right?
Your SATs are good, infact over average for any ivy and co. schools. But numbers are not the only factor in your admission. Admission to an ivyleague is in itself a high reach for everyone.
Good Luck. Give your best.

I think you could do it. I believe it's easier to transfer in than to be accepted first year undergrad. If you have really good grades at Santa Monica then I'd say go for it

No 3.9s, you'll need the 4.0

Though you might want to research Yale's transfer policy. I know Harvard's and Princeton's are nonexistant. If you have the money, NYU's a strong bet. In some ways, it's sort of similar to Yale, too. (With the entire artsy thing)
