Transfer from FAMU to GaTech

Hello,
I am currently in the fall semester of my sophomore year at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. To make a long story short, I do not feel as if I will be able to spend another two years here. Ever since I began school here, my medical issues have worsened. I’m in the hospital a lot, and my family is worried about me, as am I. Also, I have no social life here. I feel as if no one here is in college for the right reasons. I haven’t been able to make friends, and my roommates are so terrible, I feel unsafe as well. I’ve had enough of being away from home. I came here for the money. I am on full scholarship. However, the school has been having some financial issues, and has not been able to disburse my scholarship. As a result, I cannot register for class next semester.
I am from Georgia, and when I was younger, my dream school was Georgia Tech. I even intern at GA Power. I feel as if there is more for me back home than there is here.
However, due to me being hospitalized Spring semester of my freshman year, I now have a 3.4 GPA and 31 credits. At the end of this year, I will hopefully have accumulated 30 more credits and raised my GPA. Also, GT and Kennesaw are the only schools next to my home that have my major. Will this be enough for me to have a chance at transferring into GT next Fall?
Thanks for any help.
