Hi everyone!
I am now attending a small liberal art college, but it's a female college and I do not like it much because the environment is the same everywhere, plus it has few internships. I really want to transfer to another co-ed LA college or national university. I just don't know how to begin transfer process. Would you be kind enough to show me? And my family only contribute below $10000/year. I know it gonna be very very hard, but I just want to give it a try, or else I just accept my destiny here :(. Thank you so much. I would appreciate your advices.

Read the Transfer Admissions 101 sticky thread at the top of this forum and look at the websites of schools you’re interested in, they give all the details about what you need and deadlines for transferring.

Recognize that while some schools treat transfers the same as fr for need based FA, many have less FA for transfers. And in general, merit scholarships are fewer and for smaller amounts for transfer students. See the Resources sticky thread for a link to some schools with merit for transfers.

It looks like you’re an Intl. applicant, that makes FA and merit even more difficult.
