<p>If you’re a junior transfer with a 4.0 that’s one thing, a one term 4.0 for a soph transfer is another. Whether you applied to them in the past is another factor. If you didn’t get in as a freshmen, a sophomore transfer will be tough.</p>
<p>That said, you’d certainly be in the running anywhere, but with the low acceptance rates at these schools and so many great candidates it will come down to your making a strong case for transfer to the specific schools, your essays and your recs.</p>
<p>A prof who gave you an A+ can say you’re a strong student but you’ll also want recs for this level of school that show what you bring to a campus. They are full of great students and can cherry pick those who really add something where transfers are concerned.</p>
