Transfer From UVA to Northwestern

Hey I'm just wondering what my chance are applying to Northwestern as a transfer from UVA. I would be applying to the school of communication in their radio/television/film program. I actually got accepted into Northwestern when I applied as a senior from high school but couldn't go because of financial reasons.

So with the facts that
-I got accepted as a freshman into Northwestern
-I go to UVA, a well regarded school
what would you say my chances are?

I plan to keep my college GPA at about a 3.7 and I'm involved in this running club, this film makers society and Im volunteering at this local elementary school. please any opinions are welcome!

anyone!??!?!?

On the positive side, the fact that you got into NU is good because it shows that as a HS student you had the qualities and qualifications that they were looking for. As a sop transfer you will be assessed more heavily on your HS record and test scores since you will only have completed 1 sem/qt of college.

On the negative side, transfer acceptance rates are often lower than for freshman admissions. However, I'm not familiar with acceptance rates at NU so I don't know how much of a factor this is.
