Transfer GPA questions

I received my fall grades and ended with a 3.43 accum. I graduate with an AA in the spring, and was curious about how the GPA works when you apply as a transfer. When I send out applications will schools only consider the 3.43 or will they factor in my spring semester? I saved the last 5 classes because they are super easy and I wanted to chill.

I wanted to apply to some solid reach schools and should end with a 3.66 when spring semester concludes. I hope they consider spring because as an older non traditional student, I have some awesome things I overcame to come back and complete school. I have a ton of cool factors like that, that are pretty funny and interesting.

Some of the schools I wanted to apply at have a 3.5 min req. Someone set me straight, will they only consider the 3.43 and can the fact I’m trending up and up make a difference?

Thanks!

When you apply for transfers, your GPA will be set at 3.43. The only thing you send from your second semester is your midterm report. If some schools have a minimum at 3.5, I don’t think you will be able to apply since your GPA is technically 3.43 and your second semester grades won’t influence your GPA until your semester concludes, which is after applications are due.
