Transfer Help Available

Hello all,

As a successful transfer from USC to Penn last fall, I feel compelled to offer essay help (and general advice) to any and all transfer applicants. Feel free to send essays, CVs, stats, and questions to jrapp@sas.upenn.edu.

JR

Dude, I sent you my essays a couple of weeks ago and you never got back to me.

That was cold-blooded, dude…cold-blooded.

J/k about the cold-blooded part, but I really did send you an e-mail with my essays. It’s cool if you didn’t have a chance to look at them or forgot about them, though.

Email me again! I’ve been so busy with finals.

I completely understand. I just re-sent the e-mail. Thanks a lot for the help.

Did you like SC while you were there?

I did! It’s not really my scene (what with all the sports and frat hoopla), but I made it work. Great music school!

wayward_trojan, what is your major?

i sent you my stats too wayward, take a look please =)

do you have to join frats at SC, ive heard you do and dont just curious thinking of applying for transfer

Music major/

You don’t have to join frats, but it’s a big part of USC culture along with sports.

Bump! Offer still good =)

thank you so much for taking your time out of your busy day to do something like this… haha but i havent written my essay yet, so i’ll PM it to you in a couple of weeks. i just wanted to say this is extremely kind of you :)

Glad to help! Feel free to send resumes, detailed transcripts (with course numbers/IDs/titles), and EC lists/any other pertinent info.

My reasons for wanting to transferring are largely social. How do I explain that to my classmates if I decide to leave? And how do I explain that to professors and my dean when I ask for letters/the dean’s report? (because I go to the kind of school where they’ll ask)
