Dear UC Applicant:
Thank you for applying for admission to the University of California. You have embarked on an exciting journey to find the best possible education, and we are proud that you are considering one or more of our world-class campuses.
Now that you have applied to UC, be sure to stay on track through the admissions process by completing all coursework and responding to time-sensitive correspondence on matters of admission and financial aid
that you receive from our campuses. Also, remember that the deadline for filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Cal Grant GPA verification form is March 2. To qualify for the most financial aid possible, you will need to meet this deadline.
A counselor from the Transfer Center or Counseling Office at your community college may get in touch
with you in the weeks ahead to remind you of important next steps and key dates and deadlines. Make sure
to take advantage of all of the counseling resources available at your college; they can provide a wealth of
information to make your transfer to UC as smooth as possible.
Each of our campuses has different admissions notification periods for transfer students. Depending upon
the campus(es) you applied to, you will be notified of admissions decisions between March 1 and May 1.
No matter which UC campus you choose to attend, you will have opportunities to learn from internationally
respected faculty and bright, capable students from around the world. At your doorstep will be a vibrant
social, cultural, athletic and artistic community, as well as a range of support services to help you succeed.
We wish you the best on your academic endeavors and future goals!
Sincerely,
Susan A. Wilbur, Ph.D.

Yeah. This email has nothing to do with your chance of acceptance, since it has nothing to do with the individual admissions departments at each campus.

However, it's strange that some applicants didn't receive it.

very strange indeed...

mm, that's weird. i didn't get that, and i don't know anyone else that did.

it certainly can't be a bad sign. are you a guaranteed admit or something?

I dont think it means anything.

I didn't get it...but I'm not a community college transfer. Davisengineer, did you get it? I'm asking because I know that you're an InterUC transfer.

No I didn't get it.
