My first sem as a junior. I have just registered for phase II.. and am worried about the workload

Econ 100B Olney 4units (I heard workload is heavy n has a harsh curve to get an A?)
Stat 21 Stark 4units (is this comparatively easy and don't have that much work?)
Econ 161 Magin 4units (I know nothing about the class, is it hard and memorize a lot?)
PACS 10 Zook 4units (I heard the professor is really nice, but again how it the workload?)

How are the classes? Is 16 units too much for getting started? Should I drop one class(probably 161...) and register for a decal class?

At CalSO, almost every speaker suggested that new transfers only take 13 units. I am a new Junior transfer as well and I will only be taking 13 units. I think that it would be best to take the minimum course load and acclimate yourself with the new campus and academic environment and then take more units in the following semesters, if you feel comfortable with taking that amount. There are some interesting DeCal classes that you might want to look at before they fill up. Also, if you are adamant about taking 16 units, you can check out campusbuddy.com (which is basically the free version of pickaprof) and view the grading statistics for the teachers you want to take to determine whether your current course load is too rigorous or not.
