Hello, I am currently a freshman at a CUNY (City University of New York). My highschool gpa+SAT scores aren't strong at all, pretty weak (Imagine worst record possible if need be). Don't get me wrong, it is weak for a reason. Lived with a single parent in the South Bronx, that parent went through Chem. Therapy and had to take care of that person, also had other obstacles that I had to overcome by myself. I do take fault though, I understand it was up to me and im not going to blame anyone else for my mistake. Despite being stressed out, my view on education took a complete turn. I managed to graduate with an advanced regents diploma and managed to get great grades on those tests.

Right now, so far my EC's are: Member of the Red Cross, Member of the science club, member of the college newspaper, volunteering at a nearby hospital, plan on volunteering this coming sunday at a huge marathon taking place in New York, I also tutor kids at a public school.
I have a trip planned to travel to a third world country (Where my family came from) with an organization which will allow me to assist doctors in providing free healthcare.

So far im top in all my classes, plan on having a 3.7-4.0 GPA and maintaing it at that level. I will be able to get letter of rec. from Harvard, Columbia, Williams etc. grads/professors.

So basically, what are my options if I apply to school for this coming Fall term (For Sophmore year).

And what are my chances if I keep my GPA+EC's and if I apply after my Sophmore year for Fall 08 Term (For Junior year).

I am not limiting my options, just taking suggestions on what schools that I would have a chance to get admitted and basically reach+safety schools. Thanks.

*Suggestions on how to improve myself as an applicant is greatly appreciated, thanks.
