Transfer or no?

Hello to all! My name is James, and I’m currently in a sticky situation. I’ve attended Appalachian State for two years, and haven’t found the joy everyone talks about. I’ve gone home a lot since I’ve been up here, and when I stay up here, I feel isolated. I’m thinking about transferring to UNC Charlotte to be closer to home, but I’m concerned about missing out on the college experience, like Saturday football games, homecoming parades, and the ability to walk anywhere without a car. I’m having difficulty deciding and don’t have much time. I need opinions as soon as possible.
