So I took a semester at a university but didn’t do too hot and it was a bit too pricey. To get to the point, can I enroll at a school (community college or public university) as a freshman or do I absolutely have to transfer?
What semester are you in now? You can go to CC for a semester(s) and then apply to transfer to 4-year schools. Lots of people do it for different reasons. Finances, they are unhappy, want to be closer to home, medical issues, etc. Being at CC will give you a chance to rebuild your GPA.
All I did was one semester for my freshman year and took this semester off and am currently working. The reason I was asking if I HAVE to transfer is because I still owe some money and I can’t get my transcript transferred until I pay all of the previous university off. Of course I’ll still pay it but I’m just curious
There is a national database that records where students have enrolled. You can’t “forget” your previous college and apply as a frosh that has never attended college; you’ll be caught.
