i'm at southern ct state university and absolutely hate it. i messed up in high school, didn't get back on track til senior year, so i ended up here. I want to transfer to UVM, Uconn, or Northeastern....what kind of stats should I be aiming for to get into one of these?

any ideas?

around a 3.7 gpa

UVM says "Most successful transfer applicants present a cumulative grade point average of between 2.75 and 3.0", and if you have a GPA of 3.4 or higher, you can try to transfer into the Honors College. (Info from here and here.)

wow lol one person says a 3.7 and the other a 3.0

oh, do you think one year of college work will be enough to offset some bad grades in hs, or will it have to be two?
