<p>I was deffered from Hopkins this year, class of 2010. God, my hand is still hurting from a punch i gave the wall (seriously!). Still not giving up, I will be attending a "community college" this summer and spring, and I'm looking foward on transfering by the March 15 deadline.
1) I have such a strong interest in Johns Hopkins, expressing that interest and as a deffered from the class of 2010, will that increase my chances as a transfer at all???</p>

<p>For transfer students, your "chances" for acceptance are not impacted by any previous application to Hopkins and the decision rendered at that time. So you being deferred and ultimately not offered admission this year will have no effect on your application next year. </p>

<p>As far as interest, it always help but it has little to do with the application review process for freshmen and transfers.</p>
