Transfer Process Help For Next Year

Hey guys,
Next year I am considering applying to UNC-Chapel Hill, Cornell CAS, Penn CAS, Brown, Bowdoin, Swarthmore. Of course, I will need to narrow this down (and I will also be doing it for sophomore standing). I know people say that Cornell is the easiest of the Ivy League but is this true w/ CAS when compared to Penn or Brown? How are these schools with aid? I have heard that both Cornell and Penn are both good and bad from different people. Are schools often stingy when it comes to transfer aid in general?

BTW, my interests are history, economics, and european studies. I am very into stock market & (economics/business) but I don't think I want to follow it strongly in college because it naturally just seems very competitive and difficult. Not that I am lazy or anything, I just hope you know what I'm trying to say... It seems cutthroat, especially at the schools I have mentioned, and this is not the type of situation I want to be in. Also, should I really look towards taking certain classes for my freshman year that will fall into these schools' programs and make me more appealing for transfer if there is such a thing?
Any comments would be very appreciated and thanks

Where do you currently attend? A lot of the schools you listed are very different. What exactly are you looking for?

Cornell is easier to get into than all of the other Ivies. Penn CAS is easier than Wharton, but still much more difficult than Cornell. Brown is similar to Penn. Also, Cornell has the most grade deflation of the Ivies, making it one of the more difficult ones to get out of. Brown shouldn't be especially difficult and Penn CAS, depending on the major, isn't supposed to be extremely difficult either.

bowdoin will be extremely difficult. they took 3 out of 200+ this year.

heavily depends on where you currently attend, what your coursework is like, and of course the usual (gpa, recs, essays)

I got rejected from Bowdoin and Cornell CAS, but accepted to Brown. Came from a community college.

thanks for the feedback!
i will be going to unc-wilmington and i will definitely try for a 4.0
should i be trying to find certain classes that would make transfering easier/more appealing?
i knew bowdoin's transfer stats were crazy but i had no idea it was only 3 because i always look at what collegeboard says and i think it was like 10%
im starting to think i wouldnt like swarthmore and i would add davidson to my list but it is way too close to home.

ive actually wondered this for a while, would it be harder to transfer into johns hopkins with a science major or without one?

also, its really hard for me to describe what im looking for
i think unc-chapel hill is my ultimate favorite
cornell, penn, and brown are my reaches to see if i can not only get in, but with aid, and if so count me in
ill have to see if economics is an offered major at each college/cas

economics is obviously offered....

yeah.. i was unsure for some reason.
i think ive seen schools that didnt offer economics before, but some kind of business instead
