Transfer question

<p>Hello all,</p>

<p>I got denied trying to transfer to UT Austin this year. I used the automatic transfer application in hopes of getting in, but without success. I just want to know why I didn't get admitted. I was in the top 8% of my high school in Texas and got in the first time when I applied as a senior in high school, so it came as a shock to me that i didn't get in this time. Do they not consider the automatic transfer application? I want to ask the UT admissions office, but I doubt they will give me a good answer. Thanks for the suggestions.</p>

<p>The best that I can say is to just call them and see what happened, or appeal stating that you were an automatic admission applicant for transfer.</p>

<p>Did you check to see if your junior college marked your transcript as “Core Complete?” If they did not, then there is no way for UT admissions to know this.</p>
