Hi, I was telling my daughter she should send a few transcripts/apps to other schools in case her aid package is not workable this year. There were a couple of schools that would have transfer money and since she did very well this semester, maybe a scholarship. She likes her present school very much though and wondered if having to ask for transcripts/recs, it might hurt her chances for a good aid package if they think she wants to leave. I told her to be honest, tell them it's "just money" and they would understand, but I wondered if she had a legitimate worry.
Most posts I read, the student really wants to leave but few are just sending out feelers. Any feedback would be appreciated
