I applied last year as a senior in HS and was accepted but went to another school. I am now applying for transfer to RU. I will have completed 32 credits spring and fall combined (I went into college with 19 credits).

My question is, are standards different for transfer students? Should I worry about being rejected if my grades are decent?

i have a question also what if you are transfering from one campus to another do you really have to wait until the 10th of jan to find out and what about housing do you normal get into housing?

Hi flouderingfree, I'm in the same situation and I think I may know your daughter. I'm in the honors program and live on the same floor as her. Anyway, I applied mid-October, and have not heard a response back yet. I don't believe they start looking at the applications until December 1st, which was the deadline. Of course, that really stinks because you have to have the "intent to vacate" form turned into Housing by the end of November. So I guess Rutgers wants you to move out and hope you are accepted. But I think (or rather hope) I will be notified before the semester is over.
