I recently applied to CSULB for the Spring 2011 session. My application was sent in a few weeks ago, then they requested my my official transcripts which I sent in two weeks ago today.

My question, is it typically a good sign that they request official transcripts or is this standard procedure?

Has any other transfer applicants been accepted for admission in Spring 2011, and if so when did you apply/how long did it take to hear back?

Just need to clear the air on a few things since I somehow need to get accepted, apply for a loan, and find a place to live by the time the Spring semester begins in 8 weeks.

Thanks for your time, as you can see I'm in a bit of a panic.

Hi Trav. I’ve been accepted for Spring 2011 as a transfer student. I applied as soon as they emailed me about open spaces (October 25) and they accepted me after one week, so around November 5.

All transfer students are provisionally accepted, meaning that you must send in your final transcript by January 14 and have a C or better on all your current courses. Technically we aren’t fully in until they receive all documents.
