So I’m in the middle of filling out transfer stuff and I deciding who can write my recommendation letters. Most of my classes were pretty big lecture-style classes and I didn’t really get to know the professors so well. I did get to know one of my professors in a smaller class but she’s an adjunct professor, I already asked her to write me one and she said she will be glad to write one for me she told me she wasn’t the best choice but if I really needed it she would (which I do), I asked another professor that sort of knows me but not too much as he’ s the next best. For schools like Harvard, I see they only ask for two recommendations but you can add more and I was wondering if it would be worth asking one of my high school teacher who I really got to know in 12th grade to write me a recommendation letter. I know she’s not a professor but she has told me that I was her favorite and brightest student she’s ever taught. Is it worth getting a recommendation from her seeing as my professor recommendations may not be the best?
