Hi! I’m currently a freshman at a small school in Connecticut that I hate. It’s just not the right fit for me and I plan on transferring for the fall of 2020. I’m predicted to end my first semester with a 3.39-3.4ish range (calc killed my gpa). I REALLY need help finding schools:
I’m a neuroscience major looking for schools on the east coast, primarily the northeast that are medium to big near a city or with good pre med programs!!! If anyone can help me find a good fit I really appreciate it!! Thank you!!!
It would help if you named your school so that we didn’t recommend it or schools of similar fit. If you don’t want to share, it would help to know how competitive it is and what don’t you like about it in order to provide good suggestions. What is your budget? What was your high school gpa? Test scores?
It’s a small catholic school (which I don’t care if my school has a religious affiliation even though I am catholic). I believe the acceptance rate is around 60%. It wasn’t that competitive of a school for me but gave me a lot of scholarship money, which is why I went. My high school gpa was a 3.93 and my sat was an 1100 (1110 superscored). My budget would ideally be around 30,000. I’m originally from NJ if that helps???
Here are some potential ones you could investigate:
URI
UVM (may be over budget)
St. MIchael’s
UHart
Pitt (may be over budget)
Temple
SUNY Binghamton
