Transfer statistics

Does anyone know the transfer admissions statistics for Cornell?
The website doesn't really give anything in terms of acceptance rates...# of applicants for each school, etc.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks~

http://dpb.cornell.edu/documents/1000156.pdf

Is the GT's counted in this information?

Fineprint at bottom of PDF: "Special Students not included." Whether GTs are classified as special students is debatable. I would like to think no because I can't think of any other "special transfer student" other than a GT...

^ Doesn't have to be debated Contact the admissions office and ask.

Where did you find that link?? I found conflicting information on another spot on the Cornell website.

http://www.hotelschool.cornell.edu/admissions/ugrad/stats.html

Is anyone here transferring to Cornell?? If you are what is ur GPA, year, EC's etc. ??

The link I provided explicitly states "External Transfers for Fall 2007." The Hotel link just says "Transfers" and provides a higher number of transfers. I'm assuming this includes internal transfers as well.

What I don't understand is why the admits on the external page is nearly double than the hotel school link.

The "Special Transfers" factor might play a role. I don't have definite answers, I'm just speculating.

Yes, I’m applying this year. My GPA is 3.8, but my essay, I guess will be duly assessed. As I don’t have perfect test scores, I rely on my experience.

i applied as a transfer with a 4 gpa through one semester, and a 4.0 midterm report, i got 2240 sat, 800 r 760 w 680 m, but my high school gpa was only 2.9… do i stand a chance at acceptance? i applied primarily to arts and sciences, but also to human ecology as an ancillary option.

Wow, the statistics are so low! I applied under the architecture program as a transfer student, and I really want to go. 5/70 applicants got in! EEEEkkk.
