Transfer Student University List

I'm a Phi Theta Kappa member at St. Louis Community College and I'm looking to transfer to a four year university next fall. I'm going to major in english with an emphasis on linguistics because I plan to become an english professor and teach overseas. Anyways I'm trying to figure out what colleges I should apply to. Here's a list of some I'm considering.

-Mizzou (university of missouri in columbia)

-Truman State University

-Olgethrope University (based on a scholarship they offer ptk)

-Northern Arizona University (my mom is a resident in arizona so I might qualify for in-state)

My mom is a flight attendant so I get free flights anywhere and I'm planning on not owning a car while I'm a student. I'm also looking for good student exchange programs such as ISEP (planning on participating in the 15 week Celta program at Masaryk University in Prague) and my yearly budget is around $17,000. Please feel free to add to the list

Are you looking for a degree in TESOL, or for a degree in English Literature? There are very few undergraduate degrees in TESOL. Most programs are MS Ed. in TESOL, or MA in TESOL.

If you want to know more about CELTA programs, you should try to get in touch with fiona_ She completed a CELTA program a couple of years ago during a gap semester.

no im just getting a degree in english and yea ill hit her up thanks

im basically just having trouble deciding on where i should go or consider going
