Transfer student, what are my chances?

<p>I’m planning on transferring from the local CC here in VA to OSU starting in the spring semester.</p>

<p>My numbers aren’t terribly good. Right now I have a 2.5 gpa (due to dropping a class, they said I didn’t, stopped going and got an F), but that will be at least a 3.0 by the end of this fall semester, and when I applied it seems they will take that into account.</p>

<p>And I received a 24 on the ACT. My hand was all shaky on the writing exam part, but whatever, screw excuses.</p>

<p>And I guess if it matters I’m a minority.</p>

<p>If you just wait to transfer til next summer or fall quarter...all you need is a 2.0 GPA and 30 semester hours/45 quarter hours to be admitted.</p>

<p>I'll have 30 something credits by the end of this current fall semester.</p>
