Hello, I was wondering if someone could chance me for MSU, I have a 2.3 GPA at the University of Michigan (There is an entire semester of failing grades that are heavily weighing me down, I’ve explained what happened and why I didn’t withdraw on my MSU application). Since that horrible term at U of M, I’ve taken 6 credits at a CC and got a 4.0 GPA. My ACT is 29. I was accepted to MSU for engineering back in 2010 but decided on U of M.
Is my GPA far too low for admission? I see on the site they 3.0 and up students are the most competitive, but I’m not sure if it’s an absolute.
