Transfer Student

I was accepted back in February for Fall '13 as a Freshman student, but in April I decided that since I'm an out-of-state student, I'm going to stay here in my state for a year and try and finish up my general courses. Afterwards, I want to transfer to UCF and work on my major itself.

So, since by the time I'll have finished up my general courses I'll have about 60+ credits (I'm guessing?), admissions would look at my college transcript rather than my high school transcript, correct?

Then my question is - When is the best time for a transfer student to apply, seeing that incoming Freshman can apply a year in advance.

are you going to a community or state college to finish up your general courses? and correct they don’t really look at your H/S records other than your immunization records/and foreign language requirement if you haven’t done so in college. speak with an academic advisor see what options are best out of state fee’s are killer wish you the best!
