How are you?! Do you like your current school, but still want to transfer? If so which schools!?

USC!
one of my first choice universities to transfer to!

ATM, I'm too busy to worry about transferring. I have to catch up with my course load (it's insane. Three chapters per WEEK and Tests on those chapters EVERY Saturday, and that's for one course out of four that I'm taking) while doing my internship and job.

But if I get a 4.0 this semester, it'll be a MAJOR GPA Booster for me (from 3.71 to 3.84), and be a LOT of help for my transferring.

I go to a california community college right now so yeah, i guess i HAVE to transfer in order to continue on my education, and my two first choice schools are UCLA and USC, followed by Claremont McKenna and Berkeley. Putting UCSD as safety and MAYBE NYU.

My major will be either Business or Economics.

You?

Well right now I'm at my local CC trying to get close to a 4.0 so I can transfer out of the University of Vermont... I'm so done with CC already, but it's going to get me places, so I'll stay for the year.

I'm doing alright. Just went to my first few classes at UMass...still want to transfer. My God, that campus is HUGE. Too large. Too impersonal. Too party-oriented. I'm still planning on applying to Smith, Williams, and Colgate.

Andrea, I'm in your exact same position! You just iterated exactly how I feel. I'm at Cornell and I feel the same way: it's too large, too impersonal, too party-oriented, and way too much of a high school mentality pervading the campus. I'm looking to transfer for spring semester 2007, though if it were my choice I'd be out NOW. I'm applying to Colgate as well. I wouldn't say I hate Cornell, but my feelings come pretty close to hate. A lot of people love it here, though. It's totally a personal thing.
