Transfer to a four year University

I am planning on transferring to a four year university next year. The application deadline for the university I am going to apply to is sometime in February. The problem is (I don’t know if it will be a problem or not actually) by then I will only have taken two quarters of cc and have only 40 credits; however, by the time I start in the fall I would have all 90 credits. The university states that if I have 40 credits or below then I have to submit test scores from high school (which are decent, but nothing to be proud of). However, I am not sure if they mean 40 credits at the time of my application being submitted or 40 credits at the start of the quarter i am intending to start.

Most people usually only take 15 credits a quarter for 3 quarters a year for two years and would have about 60 credits at the time of applying, I am taking about 20 credits a quarter for 5 quarters (I’m taking classes during the summer; only 10 credits will be taken during next years summer) and I will have only 40 credits at the time of applying (technically I would have 50, but those credits are from high school classes I don’t need for my specific major). Will this affect the admission process in any way? Or does it not matter as long as I have 90 credits at the start of my intended first quarter at this new university?

You need to ask the admisions office about this. They will tell you how everything works.
