<p>I am a third year biomedical engineering student at City College who really messed up his GPA from Fs in an engineering class. I currently have a 2.42 because of repeated Fs in ME 330 and a F in another course that I am retaking next semester. For my application, I submitted a personal statement, my old SAT scores and high school transcript (I know those aren't weighed as much for students with over 30 credits). </p>
<p>What are my chances of transferring into finance or journalism (in that order) at Baruch College for the Fall 2014 semester? I attempted to explain my poor academic performance in my personal statement but I am really worried. I heard that people have filed appeal letters to the dean of Baruch if they are rejected. I should be getting a response by April 24, 2014 but I want to prepare an appeal letter in advance. I've heard of people from community colleges getting accepted to Baruch after filing an appeal letter.</p>
