Transfer to Boston University. Chance me!

I'm hispanic, and attend the University of Connecticut currently as a pre-pharmacy major. I want to transfer to Boston University as an athletic training/physical therapist major. (They have a dual degree program)

My High School Stats:
3.75 Weighted GPA
Ranked 19 out of 283
No APs, but all Honors.
High Honors throughout every semester of high school.
Graduated a year early (6 semesters instead of 8)
National Honor Society
Volunteered for the Red Cross
Girl Scouts Silver Award
Youth Group Member
Sunday School Teacher
Relay for Life Team Member
I did the Autism Awareness walk for 3 years.
Volunteered at local soup kitchens.
Head Hockey Manager (3 years)
JV Soccer Team Captain (1 year)
I was a sponsor at my church for confirming students
Link Leader (tutors freshman, does orientation, plans events)

I had more, I just can't remember at the moment. Point is, I was very involved.

College Stats:
I'm a freshman in my first semester, so I haven't gotten grades yet but they are most likely going to look like this first semester:
General Chemistry I: A
Calculus: A-
General Biology I: B
Intro to Microeconomics: B+

So my GPA is fairly good this semester, considering my extremely difficult schedule.
Classes for next semester:
General Chemistry II
Physics I
Freshman English
Intro to Psychology

My ACT and SAT scores from high school are pretty pathetic. I'm retaking and am shooting for at least a 28 on the ACTs.

The only bad part of my application is the fact that at the moment I'm on university probation. I have to write a letter about what the incident consisted of... and what happened was my roommate got out of control in our room, the RA's were called, I was sleeping, they woke me up and saw I had been drinking, so i got put on probation. I don't remember anything from that night... at all. It was a scary and traumatic experience. I had to go to the hospital to get tested to see if I got raped. My hall director was not sympathetic at all and put me and my roommate on probation. Although from the experience i can honestly say i have learned a lot of valuable lessons that i think every college freshman should know their first weekend at school.

Anyway, I'm going to detail my incident and explain what good has come out of it.. but i'm not exactly sure if and how bad it will affect my application. They must understand that those types of things happen right?

CHANCE ME!? Please and thank you!

no you’re not gonna make it

(jk)

soooooo, is that a yes? Haha

I’d give it a 50-50, not quite sure how competitive this school is. Your stats may be considered “average” there (even though they’re pretty good). Find a way to make yourself stand out, and good luck!

bummmmp. Chance me i’ll chance you back!

If you get around 1650 on your SAT’s you should be good to go

range ACT 24-28

if you get 28 you’ll be a really competitive applicant
