Hi, I'm a Canadian student from a rather good school in Canada. I'm in the science faculty, but also have a great love for the arts (been devoted instrumentalist for over 8 years, have learned a myriad of languages). I wish to transfer because, while my school is one of the top in the Sciences and research, it prefers not to focus on the arts or languages. I want to transfer to Cornell because i can proliferate in all these areas of interest, not just one. Here are some stats, do you think i have a chance?

SAT score: 2090
math:720 verbal:670 writing:700

High school GPA:
Grade 11:3.922
Grade 12:3.8

University GPA: 3.667

I have been a member of school band, Jazz band, choir and military bands throughout all of high school and have continued that as best i could in university. I also took Japanese in university (i had wanted to take cantonese, but that is not offered). Cornell does offer this though, and is one of many reasons why i would like to transfer. I was also a member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets for 8 years, volunteered at a hospital, have work experience, and have done a few other volunteer things while in university and high school. Do you think it is possible? Any comments (and be brutal) would be greatly appreciated, and more importantly, thank you to everyone who even took the time to read this.
