Transfer to Engineering in California with a 3.00GPA

Is this possible? The schools i’m looking at are Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Fullerton, and CSULB. I think I’d go to just about any school if they took me but these are the three cal states closest to me, and I’m majoring in Mechanical but if I had better chances in a similar engineering major I wouldn’t mind switching to materials or chemical for example. I’m local to all these schools and I actually already applied for this fall but my GPA was even lower back then, I was basically just testing the waters out and I’m glad I did because I learned a lot about the applications process. I got my last rejection letter today from cal poly pomona.

I haven’t been able to find any good sources for transfer gpa by major, is there anywhere I can find this? I’ve been building my GPA up the last year or so after getting my priorities straight and I should have a 3.05 after this summer but I can’t help but wonder if it will be enough. I’ve done calc 1,2,3 physics 1 and chemistry 1. Have all my GE’s and 60 transferable units and have taken all my classes in the local feeder cc system. IE fullerton college

Any advice tips or help appreciated.

You can only be local to one CSU where you should have priority and a lower GPA many times can get you an acceptance. Find which school is in your service area from the link below. I do not know of any specific sources for Transfer GPA’s but just looking through the school decision threads will give you an idea if you are competitive or not.
