transfer to Harvard and co.

By the time I transfer I am going to have 56 credits after a year and a half + a summer session. Can I put on my application that I expect to enter as a junior??
If not, should I do summer school? I think that juniors have more chances the sophomores?
Any advice would be appreciated!

anybody ?

I am unsure that Harvard makes a distinction; for instance, if you are a sophomore with 59 credits, and a junior with 61, Harvard is going to give the same weighting to your high school record. I could be wrong, though, so do not hold your breath.

I am in a worse position than you. I have 61 credits now as a Sophomore. By the time this year is over, it is possible that I will have up to 80 :(

My HS record is immaculate so that is not what worries me. The thing is that fery few people leave Harvard after freshman year and a lot more after sophomore. That said, Harvard has more spots for juniors than sophomores available.
The thing that bemused me however is that 1) with over 60 credits students are hardly eligible to transfer 2) in my school you are considered a junior with 54+ credits while in other schools it is different... thus if Harvard considers students to be juniors with 60 credits and I have 56, I am not sure if I can put "enter Fall 2006 as junior"
This is my dilemma...

Try calling and asking. The best you will get from me is, unfortunately, speculation!

Not the worst speculation, however. Check two posts down to see how people use speculation to berate my chances :</p>
