I am a sophomore at Bentley University in mass. My first year I went to a community college in New Jersey because of a mixup and some health problems and then transferred to Bentley. I am completing the second semester of my sophomore year. I am looking to transfer to a better school and I want to know what my chances are. My stats are:

Finance Major/Law Minor
between 3.84-3.88 g.p.a after this semester
investment club analyst
russian club secretary

Community College g.p.a-3.73

High school was much worse
B+avg, around a 4.0 out of 4.6 g.p.a
1380 sats
film club president

What do you think are my chances for NYU, Colombia, Cornell?
I know those are probably very unlikely, how about Villanova, Texas, USC?

^ definitely.
Well, i dont know about bentleys ranking, but I think youre competitive for almost any school on the USNEWS and world report that is ranked 30+ that means, 30, 31, 32, etc. Youve got a good GPA, youve got a few EC’s which arent that impressive, which are keeping you out of your top choices.

USC would be very hard, but maybe possible. I think you have a shot at UT, but im guessing you are out of state and therefore it will be harder.
But yea, check out some of the schools ranked between 30-100 and see which ones are good for your major, if you like the location and campus, and if it seems like a fit then youll have a better list imo :)

Is it too late to start adding any kind of EC’s. I did not mention that i was also a varsity tennis player for three years, including 1st singles and captain my junior year (didnt play senior year). I played piano for 5 years and did a summer program at NYFA where I made 3 short films. I never did any kind of volunteering work or any community extracurriculars.
