Hello! I am currently a sophomore journalism student at Emerson college in Boston. I transferred here this fall from a state university that did not offer journalism. I am finding that while my class sizes have been smaller, I really miss some of the features of going to a larger university--namely a campus, study abroad opportunities, varieties of resources, and financial aid. Overall, I'm not sure emerson provides enough opportunities for its private school price tag.

I have been looking into journalism schools around the country and it seems the university of missouri school of journalism is top notch and academically what i'm looking for. It also seems to be transfer student friendly. What I am more curious about the social atmosphere. I know greek life is very big. what are people like? is the student body diverse? are people generally down to earth or very high strung and concerned with how they look?

I am also curious about the idea of transferring...again. Has anyone or does anyone know of anyone who has transferred twice? When applying for jobs, is it looked down upon to have transferred to so many schools? Am I better off just staying where I am now?
Any advice would be great!
