Transfer to Stony after Freshman year

Hypothetically, if I excel at Suffolk Community College, lets say a 3.5-4.0 GPA, yet I have less than 24 credits, would it be possible to transfer after freshman year?

I understand that HS grades will be looked at but I have a 91 GPA with a 1180 CR + M. At the time at which I would apply to Stony Brook, I would have 17.5 Credits.

Possible, yes, depending on your major and what courses you’ve taken. It’s really best to have that full year and 24 completed credits in, though.
