transfer to Swarthmore

Is it possible to transfer to Swarthmore from Bryn Mawr college with high GPA (around 3.8)?
Do you know anybody who transferred to Swarthmore from Bryn Mawr or Haverford?

Thanks.

I'm sure it's possible. "Likely" is a different story.

Last spring, there were 189 transfer applications to Swarthmore. 26 of those were accepted (13.8%). It's a little tougher for women (9.2%).

On the plus side, attending Bryn Mawr should allow you to know Swarthmore really, really well and make a strong specific case for your transfer application.

Haha, how great would it be to take a class at Swarthmore and then have one of Swarthmore's own professors write you a recommendation?

What are your reasons for wanting to transfer?
